At Sail Hub, we value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information when you use the Sail Hub website (the "Site") and the Sail Launcher desktop application (the "App").

1. Optional Cloud Storage Integrations

The Sail Launcher App can connect to Google Drive or Dropbox to back up, sync, and restore launcher settings, game libraries, game saves, and user-selected game configuration paths. OneDrive and Mediafire connections use separately supplied credentials.

            Google Drive and Dropbox Data Disclosures
            Scope of Access: Sail requests only the provider permissions needed to create, read, update, and remove Sail-managed sync files. It does not request access for advertising or data resale.
Portable Connections: When you link Google Drive or Dropbox while signed in to Sail, the provider refresh token is encrypted in Supabase Vault so the connection can follow your Sail account to another PC. The launcher receives short-lived access tokens when it performs a sync. If you use a custom provider app, its credentials and tokens remain local to that PC.
User-Controlled Content: Sail transfers only launcher data, game saves, or configuration paths that you enable. Linked providers can be disconnected from the launcher, and Sail does not sell cloud file contents.

        

2. Information We Collect

When you interact with our website, we may collect the following information:

Account Information: When you sign up for a Sail Hub account to upload themes or plugins, we collect your email address, username, and password hash. This authentication and database storage is securely managed via Supabase.
Launcher Sync Information: If you enable account sync, Supabase stores profile names, item metadata, sync policies, quotas, and connected-provider labels. Private launcher profiles, libraries, presets, portable settings, themes, and game configurations are stored in Cloudflare R2. Full game-save archives are stored there only if you explicitly enable Sail Cloud as a game-save destination. Device paths and custom provider secrets are excluded from portable snapshots.
User-Generated Content: If you upload themes or plugins to Sail Hub, we store the uploaded files, preview images, name, and description. These uploads are publicly displayed on the website.
Usage Statistics: We automatically track public statistics, such as download counts and installation counts, to rank popular items. We do not track individual user download histories.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

To operate, maintain, and improve the Sail Hub website and service.
To authenticate users and secure accounts.
To enable the sharing, downloading, and automatic installation of community-created themes and plugins.
To handle user requests, delete content, and respond to support questions.

4. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to others. We share data only in the following contexts:

Publicly Available Content: Any username, theme, plugin, preview image, and description you publish will be visible to all visitors of the website.
Service Providers: We use Supabase for authentication, account data, public avatars, and storage metadata. We use Cloudflare Workers and R2 for private Sail Cloud files and public Sail Hub theme/plugin packages and previews.
Cloud Storage APIs: If you link a cloud provider, Sail communicates with that provider to manage the sync files you enabled. Supabase Edge Functions broker portable Google Drive and Dropbox authorization.

5. Cookies and Local Storage

We use local storage and cookies on your device to maintain your logged-in session and store preferences. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but doing so may prevent you from logging in or uploading items.

6. Your Rights & Data Deletion

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your account and uploaded files at any time. If you wish to delete your account or any files you have uploaded, you can manage them directly through your dashboard or contact us at [email protected], and we will process your request promptly.
